Mr. Terry Walters, the newest member of thestaff at Century Talents Foreign Languages School. Mr. Walters is a veteran of Chineseeducation as he has been managing American English and American Culture summercamps throughout China since 1999, through his company, Global CulturalCommunity.
Terry Walters 先生是淄博世纪英才外语学校外籍教师团队的新成员。他是美国文化夏令营活动的资深负责人，在Terry先生的努力下，全球文化共同体成立于1999年。
Terry has taken leave of hissuccessful career as secondary instructor and college professor in America tospend this academic year in China. Whilehe had many choices of schools and communities in China to work and live, hehas chosen Shandong. “Firstly, I lovethe people and culture of China. Everyday in this beautiful country is a new adventure and learning experience forme.” He has chosen Zibo, because helikes the city and the pace of life. Furthermore, the teachers and administrators of ZBCT, he says, are amongthe hardest working and most dedicated educators he has met in thecountry. “There is nothing moreimportant to this school than the academic success, security, and happiness ofthe children. I am proud to be a part ofthis exceptional staff.”
刚刚结束了自己作为一名非常成功的高中老师和大学客座教授的职业生涯，他来到了中国。在他退休前，中国有好几所知名学校和团体向他抛出橄榄枝，但是他最终选择了山东。他说：“首先，我非常喜欢中国的文化和中国人民。在这个美丽的国家度过的每一天，对我而言都是全新的学习体验。”他之所以选择来到淄博，是因为他喜欢这座城市和生活的节奏。除此之外，这所学校语言村团队的老师，也是吸引他来的原因。在世纪英才，他遇到了最努力付出的团队，最热爱教育事业的老师们。Terry先生表示：“在专业办学、和谐的校园氛围方面，几乎没有学校能与世纪英才相比；和洋溢着幸福的孩子们呆在一起，对我而言就更重要了。作为这所学校特殊的一份子，我无比的骄傲。”
After a very successful career inAmerican education as a secondary instructor, university professor, andpublished researcher, Terry Walters has left his home in Minnesota to be aneducator Zibo. He describes hiseducational philosophy saying, “The most dangerous element in society isignorance. International Education is criticalin promoting global respect and understanding which will lead to greateropportunities for peace and happiness worldwide.”
作为一名专业老师，他在美国曾经有过成功的教育教学经历，而且他还是一所大学的客座教授和一名研究员。现在他离开了自己远在美国明尼苏达州的家，来到中国执教，他是这样描述自己的教育哲学：“在当今社会基础教育阶段最危险的就是无知。国际教育恰恰起到了促进全球尊重和理解的重要作用，而且，还将在全世界创造更多的和平与幸福的可能性。”
Back in Minnesota, Terry Waltershas two daughters and five grandchildren. His interests include reading, writing, hiking, canoeing, and exploringthe various cultures of the world with extensive global travel.

1974年12月出生，毕业于北京语言大学英语教育专业，大学本科学历，小学高级教师。1997年入职淄博世纪英才外语学校，任英语推广学校教师，自2003年担任幼儿潜能开发中心主任，一直从事幼儿教育工作至今，积累了丰富的教育教学管理经验。曾多次被学校委派参加各种幼儿教育理念及萨提亚教育理念的培训学习，2003年取得蒙台梭利幼儿教师资质，2014年起加入全国华德福三年制幼师培训学习。富有爱心与耐心，在幼儿教育的各个方面有深厚的理论基础和丰富的教学实践经验。

My name is Alana Sisk. I am 25years old and am from the United States of America. I live in Roseville,Michigan. I have a twin sister Amanda who is my best friend. In 2013, Igraduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree inCommunication Disorders. My hobbies include writing, watching movies, andtraveling. My interest in travel led me to China where I have met so manywonderful people. This is my first time away from home and I am very happy tobe in Zibo.
Alana Sisk老师，来自美国，今年25岁。我的家在密歇根州的Roseville，有一个双胞胎的妹妹Amanda，也是我最好的朋友。2013年，毕业于密歇根中央大学，并获得传播障碍专业学士学位。
